New Home Builds in the Illawarra

New-home plumbing has very little forgiveness. A penetration that's 25mm off after slab pour is a cabinet, tile and waterproofing problem for the rest of the build. We work directly with builders, owner-builders and project homes across the Illawarra growth corridor — Shell Cove, Calderwood, Tullimbar, Tallawarra Lands and the new Albion Park estates — handling the full plumbing scope from rough-in through to handover, whether the home is on a slab, subfloor or another foundation system.

Our new-build scope typically includes: sewer connection to the boundary or Sydney Water main, stormwater connection and absorption (where required), hot and cold water rough-in and sanitary drainage/waste rough-in (set out appropriately for the construction method), vent stacks and gully traps, internal pipework in PEX or copper to your engineer's spec, hot water unit install (gas continuous flow, electric storage or heat pump — rebates may be available through the NSW Energy Savings Scheme; we recommend checking the relevant government or provider requirements directly), gas meter coordination with Jemena, internal gas runs to cooktop, hot water and BBQ bayonet, all wet-area fit-off, and final commissioning. We also handle bushfire BAL-rated metal flashings and downpipes for sloping blocks in Tullimbar, Calderwood and the rural fringe.

Every new build is set out to NCC and AS/NZS 3500, photographed before close-up, pressure-tested, and handed over with the full Plumbing and Gas Compliance Certificates lodged with NSW Fair Trading — exactly what the certifier, the bank and your future buyer's solicitor will want to see.
