Gas work in NSW is legally restricted to licensed gas fitters, and every new install or alteration must be issued a Gas Compliance Certificate lodged with NSW Fair Trading. Our team are fully licensed gas fitters as well as plumbers, which means cooktop installs, oven changeovers, gas heater installs, BBQ connections, hot water gas unit installs and LPG-to-natural-gas conversions are all done under one roof, with the compliance paperwork included.

Any time you smell gas inside the house, near the meter box, or notice an unexpected jump in the gas bill, treat it as urgent. Yellow or flickering burner flames, soot on saucepans, and a pilot that will not stay lit are all signs of an appliance running incorrectly and burning incompletely. Our gas fitters carry electronic gas leak detectors and manometers on the job, can pressure-test the whole line, isolate and repair the leak, and re-commission appliances safely.

For renovations and new builds we handle the full gas installation: meter coordination with the network (Jemena), point-of-attachment pipe runs in copper or polyethylene, internal copper runs, isolation valves and bayonet connectors at each appliance, regulator sizing, and final commissioning. Every install is to AS/NZS 5601 and the Gas Compliance Certificate is included in the job price — not a surprise extra.
